Okay, talk about an absence. I literally just disappeared and abandoned my blog. I apologize to anyone who was reading and then I got quiet on you. Life happens you know? Between being a wife, mother, teachermom (I homeschool) and trying to find some kind of delicate and meaningful balance between who I am to me, who I am to my family and who I am spiritually – my early midlife "celebration" has been in full swing these past several months. But hey, as Celie said in The Color Purple, "I'm here!"
How've you all been? How has life been treating you? I hope for everyone reading this that you are experiencing abundance in all areas of your life.
As for me, I am blessed. I have days when I feel like I'm losing my mind and I'm ready to hop on a bus with a one-way ticket to "Anywhere but here", but those are just weak moments and we all have them. I love my life and my family and anywhere but here would be nothing without them.
So, here's what's new with me. I am going to try my very best to stay on top of this blog. It's not easy, but I think I need this as much as there might be someone out there who needs to hear what I have to say. So it works both ways.
I am about to embark upon a health-related journey that I plan to document and post via video – whoa, I'm moving up in the world! It is going to be a raw food journey that I take for 30 days and then I'll see where that takes me beyond there. I'll explain more in the videos, but this journey is to improve my overall health. There are many benefits to consuming a high to 100% raw diet so I'm going to take on a 30-day challenge.
Look for my first video entry from me either today or tomorrow – and in advance please excuse the quality of my videos in case they are wiggly or my head gets cut off or something like that….my cameraman is 8 and my assistant (who will likely be in a video here and there because she loves an audience) is 4.
I'm glad to be reconnecting with everyone and look forward to sharing this journey with you.
